  Emily Dedear began teaching Chinese dance in Austin in 1992, and officially founded The Love of China School of Chinese Dance in August of 1999. She grew up in Taiwan, where she trained in numerous different forms of dance, including traditional Chinese. She is a graduate of Chinese Culture University in Taiwan as a dance major. She specializes in Chinese folk dance, Kung Fu for Chinese Opera, ballet and so on; she is also an expert at both stage performance and dance pedagogy.

In 2008 she received the Flying Phoenix award from the National Dance Association of R.O.C. at a presentation in Taipei.
Nguyen Vo is a 21-year-old dancer/choreographer located in Austin, Texas. Started dancing in high school and participating on different competing crews. He loves to train in various styles but hiphop is what he does best. Lorraine Woo is a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was awarded a full-ride, merit-based scholarship. After spending three years in the Business Honors Program, Lorraine graduated with dual degrees in Management Information Systems from the McCombs School of Business (B.B.A.) and in Music Business from the Butler School of Music (B.A.).

Lorraine has been dancing with the Love of China since the age of six and absolutely loves working with kids and sharing her passion for dance through teaching. In her spare time, Lorraine also enjoys songwriting, singing, playing piano/guitar, and programming. Lorraine is excited to work full time for Microsoft as an Associate Consultant in Technology.
